Australia U20s coach Nathan Grey has announced his 35-player preliminary squad ahead of the inaugural U20s Rugby Championship.
The squad will come together next week in Kangaroo Valley, before a revised 31-man line-up has been finalised leading into the competition in May.
The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies boast the highest representation in the squad, with ten players selected from the Bruce-based organisation. The selections come after a successful Super Rugby U19s campaign last season, with the Brumbies claiming the title 20-12 against the NSW Waratahs.
Flyhalf Cullen Gray, centre Jarrah McLeod, fullback Shane Wilcox, props Tevita Alatini and Lington Ieli are amongst several players that have featured for ACT Brumbies Runners in 2024.
The Australian U20s will open their U20 Rugby Championship campaign against Argentina on May 2 before facing South Africa (May 7) and New Zealand (May 12).
