Eleven Plus500 Brumbies will be in action during Round 6 of the Aquis Entertainment John I Dent Cup this weekend, with six players taking part in the huge match between Easts and Tuggeranong at Griffith Oval.
A struggling Easts side will be looking to bounce back from a 95-12 decimation at the hands of Royals last weekend. The inclusion of Brumbies players Robbie Abel, Blake Enever and Jordan Smiler will provide a big boost for the side.
Meanwhile their opponents will include three Brumbies of their own with Ben Hyne, Jordan Jackson-Hope and Nigel Ah Wong running out for Tuggeranong.
With Tuggeranong flying high undefeated and Easts winless at the foot of the table this match looks like a foregone conclusion, but the injection of these Brumbies players could throw a spanner into the works.
High flying Royals take on a much-improved Wests side at Jamison Oval in what promises to be an exciting clash.
Royals have scored a staggering 216 points in only three games this season whilst only conceding a mere 27 in those same games.
Brumbies players Tom Staniforth, Tom Cusack and Faalelei Sione have been key to those efforts, the mobile forwards adding plenty of quality to an already talented lineup.
In the Hahn SuperDry Match of the Round Queanbeyan host Uni Norths at Campese Oval in a match that has traditionally created fireworks.
The two sides will play for the Pat Matthews Cup, in hour of the late Queanbeyan player who tragically passed away during a 4th Grade game against the Owls in 2009.
The Queanbeyan scrum will be sured up by the inclusions of Brumbies front rowers Saia Fainga’a and Leslie Leulua’iali’i-Makin, a massive boost for the side.=The Owls are still looking for their first win of 2017 and will have a tough task against the Whites and their Brumbies players.
