Brumbies steam into Grand Final after beating the Bulls

The University if Canberra Brumbies have moved into the Super Rugby Grand Final after defeating the Bullls in a thrilling encounter at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria.

It was the first time the Bulls had ever lost a finals match at home and the second time the Brumbies had downed the Pretorians in 2013.

In a thrilling contest, Jess Mogg scored an outstating try on the back of some Henry Speight magic. Speight’s flick pass put the Brumbies in the hot seat and ahead of the game with time to spare.

In the wash up Speight emerged as the Brumbies best having dominated the Bulls right arounf the aprk.

“We now have a chance to make history and win the competition from third which has never been done,” Head Coach Jake White said.

“For this team to be in the Super Rugby Grand Final is remarkale considering where we have come frm in the last two years.

“The Bulls provide us with a massive challenge but things only get more difficult next Saturday with a trip to Hamilton to beat the Chiefs.”
