McHappy Day has been celebrated right around Canberra with Brumbies players crossing under the famous golden arches to lend a hand and raise money for sick children.
28 Brumbies players spread themselves right around the ACT, manning the drive through, taking orders over the counter and flipping burgers.
It was Brumbies prop Jerry Yanuyanutawa’s third McHappy Day campaign and the big unit said he was pleased to be involved again.
“McHappy Day is one of the most successful charities around and I’m more than happy to be involved each year,” Yanuyanutawa said.
“This is the 20th year McHappy Day has run and these guys are planning to raise about $3 million, so it’s up to the Canberra community to help them reach their targets.”
The Brumbies were available right across the Territory between 12-1pm on Saturday.
