A brumby enclosure, set to open at the National Zoo and Aquarium on Tuesday, will provide a valuable link between Canberra’s premier wildlife park and its Super Rugby team.
Four semi-wild Brumbies will be on display from Tuesday in what the University of Canberra Brumbies say will be a hands-on experience.
UC Brumbies General Manager, Simon Chester said it was nice to be able to share something with Canberra’s iconic zoo.
“The four brumbies are all approachable, having spent countless hours in training, ready for their big unveil,” Chester said.
“It’s all the players have been able to talk about for months now so we are all excited to see the bush brumbies strutting their stuff on Tuesday.”
A preview to the brumbies closure being launched was put together by Caitlyn Chalmers from WIN News last week. A link to the preview can be accessed here.
A second video link, with footage of the brumbies in action, will be available on the UC Brumbies social media pages on Tuesday.
