Nic Mayhew is a talented prop who adds depth to an already stacked stable of front rowers at the Brumbies.

Mayhew joined the Brumbies in 2017 following a stint with the Blues in Super Rugby, the Rosmini College alumni making the move to Australia after two seasons in Auckland.

Prior to linking up with his hometown club Mayhew had played overseas in the UK, the 28-year old joined Harlequins in 2011 and had loan stints at Esher and London Scottish.

In 2014 he returned to New Zealand to play with North Harbour in the 2014 ITM Cup where his strong performances earned him his Super Rugby contract. Mayhew would go on to make eleven appearances for the Blues, winning plaudits for his work rate and solid scrummaging ability.

The 28-year old had an impressive first season in Brumbies colours making 13 appearances for the team throughout the season in both starting and bench roles.

Eligible for New Zealand, Australia and England, due to his father being born in the UK and his grandfather being born in Australia, Mayhew will look to push his case further forward with the Brumbies in 2018.
