Bayley Kuenzle is a new face to Canberra having joined the Plus500 Brumbies as part of the Wider Training Squad for 2019 and beyond. Kuenzle, who was part of the junior Wallabies squad that played in the World U20 Championships in France in early 2018, represented NSW Schools in 2016 where a series of outstanding performances earned him a call-up to the Australian Schools Barbarians squad.

Promoted to NSW U20 team, and selected for the Junior Wallabies World Cup campaign, Kuenzle, who’s surname is off Swiss heritage, impressed in France with his direct running and playmaking skills to the fore bringing him a try against Italy as the team eventually finished the tournament tin fifth place.

An exciting talent who has the ability either play at flyhalf or inside centre, the youngster stands an imposing 1.86m for his position, the product of Newington College in Sydney is hallmarked for a long and successful career should his star continued to ascend at this rapid rate.
