Gameday Guide: John I Dent Cup Grand Finals

Here’s a few handy hints to help you make the most of your grand final experience:

 

Parking

 

No on-site parking. Parking within Viking Park for Field 2 is limited to Venue Staff, Match Officials and Team Support Staff only.

 

Limited various parking options are located within a 5 min walk of the venue. Please do not park in the Vikings Licensed Club carpark as this is reserved for their patrons.

 

ACT & SNSW Rugby Union have been provided with an exemption to have an increase in the crowd limits at Viking Park for this weekend’s Premier Rugby Grand Finals. This exemption see’s Viking Park effectively split into two separate venues with each game treated as its own separate event.

 

Field 1

  • Grand stand seating access is through Gate A
  • Eastern sideline access is through Gate B
  • Parking: No on-site parking. Parking within Viking Park for Field 1 is limited to Team Support & VIPs only. Limited various parking options are located within a 5 min walk of the venue. Please do not park in the Vikings Licensed Club carpark as this is reserved for their patrons.
  • All spectators will be provided with a coloured band and must remain in their respective areas and not to move between Fields 1 and 2.

 

Field 2

  • Spectator access is through Gate C

 

 

Disabled parking will be available internally within Viking Park. Cars need to have a disability permit displayed and all occupants will need a ticket to enter.

Entry Times:

There a specific entry and exit times for players and spectators.

4th Grade

  • Player venue access from 8.15am
  • Spectator access from 9.15am
  • Spectators to exit venue by 11.05am

3rd Grade

  • Player venue access from 10.20am
  • Spectator access from 11.25am
  • Spectators to exit venue by 1.15pm

Colts

  • Player venue access from 9.45am
  • Spectator access from 10.45am
  • Spectators to exit venue by 12.30pm

2nd Grade

  • Player venue access from 11.55am
  • Spectator access from 12.40pm
  • Spectators to exit venue by 2.40pm

1st Grade

  • Player venue access from 2.00pm
  • Spectator access from 2.50pm
  • Spectators to exit venue by 5.00pm

Premier 15s

  • Player venue access from 4.15pm
  • Spectator access from 5.15pm
  • Spectators to exit venue by 7.00pm

 

General

  • Do not attend if feeling unwell.
  • Please maintain social distancing of 1.5m.
  • Spectators are asked to vacate the venue on completion of their match.
  • All spectators will be provided with a coloured wrist band and must remain in their respective areas and not to move between Fields 1 and 2.
  • No spectator tunnels are permitted for players run through to take the field.
  • No spectators are to enter the field of play even at the conclusion of a match.
  • No alcohol or glass can be brought into the venue.
  • If consuming alcohol, spectators must be seated.
  • No animals permitted within the ground.
