The Plus500 Brumbies Board has acquired two new additions with Christine (Chris) Faulks and Christa Gordon being appointed into Director roles after the last Board meeting held on Thursday 3 October.
Chris Faulks is Deputy Chancellor at the University of Canberra and a Member of the University Council, further strengthening the Brumbies links with the landmark Australian education institution, as well as being a Director at a number of prominent Canberra organisations, including being CEO of the Canberra Business Council.
Christa Gordon is a respected partner at the renowned professional services firm, KPMG, where she also holds the role of Chief Operating Officer of KPMG’s Management Consulting Division having been at the corporate firm for over twenty years.
“We are delighted to welcome Chris and Christa to the Brumbies Board,” Plus500 Brumbies Chairman Matt Nobbs commented.
“Both Chris and Christa are long-term Brumbies members and bring a wealth of business knowledge and experience to the role. They will be a welcome addition to the Brumbies Family.
“They are both very well-respected members of the Canberra community and we are looking forward to receiving their input as we continue to build the Brumbies profile in the local community and further afield.”
The Gordon name is no stranger to the Canberra rugby community as Christa’s two sons, Jake (25) and Ben (21), both play rugby for the Queanbeyan Whites.
Ms. Faulks meanwhile has been on the Board of various corporate entities and not for profit organisations in the ACT, including a current role with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.
Chris Faulks and Christa Gordon will replace departing Board Members Chris Doogan and Michelle Melbourne.
