Aussie U18’s and Schools Two From Two To Start 2019

Brumbies backs coach Peter Hewat’s Australian U18 and Schools maintain a perfect record in their opening two fixtures of the underage calendar, taking down Fiji and the New Zealand Schools Barbarians.

First up was Fiji where Nudgee College product Reesjan Pasitoa kicked the goals in his sides 39-7 win.

Next up was the BaaBaa’s where this time it was Wests playmaker Tony Alofipo’s turn to take the kicking duties, and he was excellent, accounting for 10 of the Australian’s 30 points.

Hawke And McGee Steering Schools Stars With Aussie Barbarians

While the Australian Schools play in New Zealand, closer to home, Queanbeyan Whites coach Dan Hawke alongside Gungahlin Eagle's Ben McGee have been taking charge of the Australian Schools Barbarians.

The pair famously stewarded the ACT Schoolboys side that took home the National Championships in 2017.

The Barbarians side will be in action on Wednesday, 2 October against Samoa Schools and it will be livestreamed on Australian Schoolboys Facebook page. (above)
