Three ACT Schoolboys have been picked to represent the Australian Schoolboys team on its upcoming tour of Fiji and New Zealand.
2011 representatives Andrew Robinson (St Mary Mackillop College) and Tom Staniforth (Canberra Grammar) have been joined by Neori Nadruku (St Edmonds College) in the 28 man Australian squad.
Nadruku, the son of Fijian and Canberra Raiders rugby league star Noa, has proven himself as a quality ball carrier around the park despite supporting the load of a big front-rower.
He made his Australian Schoolboys debut last month in Sydney against the Tongan Schools team alongside Robinson. For Staniforth, the tour will be his first taste of representative rugby in 2012 having missed the Tongan match through injury.
Robinson scored a try and had a solid game in the Australian outside backs against Tonga and will look to continue that strong form while on tour.
The Australian Schoolboys will play five games on tour, coming up against national sides from Samoa, New Zealand and Fiji
