The Aquis Brumbies are pleased to announce a renewed, multi-year partnership with one of the world’s leading automotive brands, Land Rover.

The Brumbies and Land Rover Australia have enjoyed a myriad of successful integrated marketing and activation strategies over the past three years, establishing a strong, sincere and successful alliance between the two brands.

Under the agreement Land Rover Australia will retain its place as the Official Automotive Partner of the Brumbies and will continue to feature on the left sleeve of all playing jerseys, as well as receiving a multitude of additional marketing assets across the Brumbies operation.

Brumbies CEO Michael Jones is pleased the Brumbies can continue working with an iconic brand such as Land Rover.

The Brumbies will bring direct exposure to over 1.2 million rugby fans in some of the best markets and venues nationally and internationally, as well as gaining more fans daily via digital platforms in addition to several exciting new initiatives the Brumbies will unveil in 2016.

The announcement is made as all Australian rugby fans excitedly enter the Wallabies quarter-final weekend at the Rugby World Cup (RWC).  Land Rover are Global Partners of the RWC and their commitment to the competition and ultimately Rugby, is extremely visible, making the national allegiance for the Brumbies even more valuable in the name of consistency.


The Brumbies were formed in 1996 to provide a third Australian franchise for the Super Rugby competition. Since then, they have enjoyed more success than all the other Australian teams combined, reaching six finals and winning two championships. The club is also known for producing some of the world’s best rugby players such as Stephen Larkham, George Gregan and Matt Giteau to name just three. In all, 80 Brumbies players have gone on to represent the Wallabies.
