The 2008 Macdougall Medal Presentation Dinner was held at the Canberra Southern Cross Club in Woden on Friday, 15 August.

Royals lock/back-rower Sokai Tai (20 votes) was awarded the 2008 Macdougall Medal ahead of Easts flanker Henry Vanderglas (16 points) and Gungahlin centre Matt hawke (14 points).
