The CA Brumbies will travel across regional NSW and the Far South Coast on Friday, 28 March to meet their fans as part of the annual ActewAGL Country Visits. The ActewAGL Country Visits, now in their fifth year, brings CA Brumbies players to 12 NSW regional centres to meet supporters and visit young rugby players in the area. Brumbies Rugby CEO Andrew Fagan says the ActewAGL Country Visits have become a popular event through the rugby community. “We appreciate what great support we get from country NSW and the ActewAGL Country Visits is just one way we can recognise this support,” he said. “We realise what an integral part of our rugby calendar this annual event has become and each year it is enthusiastically received from our supporters and the players alike.” The ActewAGL Country Visits gives fans the opportunity to come face to face with some of the Investec Super 14’s biggest stars and interact with members of the CA Brumbies through a variety of organised games and activities. ActewAGL Manager Marketing and Communications Paul Walshe says the ActewAGL Country Visits have become an institution for regional rugby fans. “This is the fifth year we’ve run the ActewAGL Country Visits and each year we receive extremely positive feedback from excited fans who’ve had a kick with Stirling Mortlock or passed the ball with George Smith,” he said. “We’re very proud to help provide regional rugby fans with this opportunity as part of ActewAGL’s commitment to the ACT and NSW.” Children can also win one of three fantastic prizes including a Super Brumbies Pack family pass by entering the colour-in and win competition.
