CA Brumbies country-bound with ActewAGL

The CA Brumbies will travel to southern NSW tomorrow (13 April) to meet their remote rugby fans as part of the annual ActewAGL Country Visits.

Through the program, now in its fourth year, CA Brumbies players will spread across eight NSW regional centres to meet supporters and visit young rugby players in the area.

Brumbies Rugby CEO Andrew Fagan says the ActewAGL Country Visits have become an integral part of the CA Brumbies calendar.

“The ActewAGL Country Visits program is a great chance to give something back to our loyal supporters who often travel long distances to see the team play in Canberra,” he said.

“The whole team thoroughly enjoys going out to visit the rugby communities in these areas and understands the important role it plays in regional centres.”

During the visits fans will have the opportunity to come face to face with some of the Investec Super 14’s biggest stars and interact with members of the CA Brumbies through a variety of games and activities.

ActewAGL Manager Marketing and Communications Paul Walshe says the ActewAGL Country Visits are a much-anticipated day for rugby enthusiasts around the state.
 
“The ActewAGL Country Visits program has been running for four years and is certainly a highlight for us,” he said. It’s great to be able to help give rugby fans an opportunity to meet, get an autograph and kick a footy around with their favourite players.
