South African Supporter's Club

The attached picture shows my daughter "Cara" and I with a couple of the Brumbies visiting Cape Town with the Wallabies.  Cara is probably the biggest Aussie supporter in South Africa as we have family in Australia that she looks up to.

There are a few members of the SA Supporter's Club in Cape Town, and every chance we get to meet the boys from down under, we try and get some pic's or even an autograph or two.  We went to the hotel and the lads had just come out from having breakfast, on their way to the Captain's Run.

Cheers and chat to you soon.

Hi there,

The end of an era! Who would have imagined that there will ever be a Brumbies team sans the names Gregan and Larkham? The two stalwarts together with Jeremy Paul had a wonderful farewell in their final hurrah at home. And what a fine gift than beating long time title rivals and current champions, the Crusaders. It was a close run affair where penalties were always going to win the match and the two teams defences were superb. On the day though, the home boys managed to channel their emotion positively and take the spoils.

The victory provides a glimmer of hope for yet another semi-final appearance but the permutations are many. One thing will remain for certain and forever, the names Gregan-Larkham as adorned on the newly christened Eastern stand - what a well deserved accolade. Good luck to the boys this weekend!

P.S. We will be meeting at 7.00am, at Forresters Arms "Forries" in Newlands avenue, Newlands on Saturday 5th May 2007 to watch the Brumbies "thump" the Highlanders in Dunedin, have your battle gear ready, game starts at 7.30am.

"Giddy Up Brumbies"

All welcome.

Cheers
Gary Marriott
