If you are contemplating becoming a referee in 2010, you are able to take advantage of this offer. You will however, need to complete a Brumbies Rugby/ACTRRA registration form (available on this website), and send it back to Nikki McLean (n.mclean@brumbies.com.au) to receive the voucher. This is a tremendous saving to see some quality games in 2010 (against opposition such as the Sharks, the Reds and the Chiefs) and to support our local team and players. Please contact Nikki ASAP to receive your voucher. NEW REFEREES NEEDED!!! We are always looking for new referees to officiate at games, from U9s through to Seniors. If you haven't refereed before, never fear- we have courses to teach you all about refereeing a game of rugby. For those who have played rugby, there is also an opportunity to use Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) to move you up the ranks towards senior refereeing. If you have previously been a referee, with the ACTRRA or another organisation and would like to take up the whistle again, please get in contact with us. We need as many people as possible to service games in the ACT & surrounding regions. We provide kit of a jersey, shorts, socks and red/yellow cards. We also have other items for purchase, such as gear bags to put all your new gear in! To find out what becoming a referee would entail, please click on the 'Steps to becoming a Rugby Referee' link on the right hand column of this page. Alternatively, if you would like further information, please contact Mark Snow, Referee Development Officer (m.snow@brumbies.com.au) or Nikki McLean, Referee Administrator (n.mclean@brumbies.com.au).
