Sunday, 14 March 2010 CA Brumbies fullback Julian Huxley has made a triumphant return to rugby with a starring role in the Brumby Runners’ 36-16 win over the Junior Waratahs at Sydney’s Knox Grammar this afternoon.
Huxley’s rugby career was postponed two years ago after undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumour, however, the nine-Test Wallaby gained clearance to take his place for the Runners against the previously undefeated NSW side.

Huxley’s rugby career was postponed in 2008 after routine scans following a head knock detected a brain tumour.

Huxley’s career was put on hold two years ago following the discovery of a brain tumour. The tumour was detected during a routine check after suffering a head knock against the Reds at Canberra Stadium on Saturday, 1 March, 2008.
