Brumbies Talent Development Camps

The Brumbies Talent Development Camps are coming to Canberra's AIS with players aged between 15-17 encouraged to take their rugby to the next level.

The development camp aims to identify players from Canberra and the surrounding region who have the potential to play representative rugby. Individually, the camp aims to assist with the core skill development of players across all positions.

The camp is run for three days from 23rd-25th January at the Australian Institute Of Sport, Australia’s leading sporting facility. Participants must be at least 15 years of age and under the age of 18 at the time of the camp to be accepted with only 70 positions available.

The Camp has already become an important element of the Brumbies talent identification process, and camp attendees have gone on to represent Australian Schoolboys, ACT Schoolboys, ACT U17s, Brumbies U16s and become members of the ARU Junior Gold Squad. The Camp is a great opportunity for players looking to start their journey along the natural pathways to a Brumbies Training and/or Super Rugby contract. Players like Ben Alexander, Pat McCabe, Christian Lealiifano, Peter Kimlin and Andrew Smith all started with the Brumbies Academy.

Closing date for applications is Friday 16th November 2012
