The University of Canberra Brumbies are celebrating with four players chosen for the Spring Tour to Europe.
David Pocock (knee), Ben Alexander (wrist) and Stephen Moore (hamstring) have all overcome injuries to be picked for the tour. They are joined by Pat McCabe who was one of the Wallabies best when picked to play the All Blacks in Brisbane last week.
The Wallabies face a stiff Test in Europe with games against France, England, Italy and Wales before returning home in December.
“It was frustrating having to watch last Test rather than being involved and trying to get the boys across the line,” Alexander said.
“But the break has been good for me. I’m feeling refreshed now and ready to go again. There are four really tough games to come.
“France are notoriously difficult to beat in Paris and there are few bigger challenges that facing England in front of a packed house at Twickenham.
‘Italy will be fired up after meeting us at the World Cup last year and obviously Wales will want to turn things around from the way they finished their three-Test tour of Australia earlier in the year.
“It’s a massive tour for the Wallabies but we are confident we’ve got what it takes to return to Australia with four wins.”
The Wallabies will assemble this Wednesday in Sydney before heading to Paris on Saturday, 3 November.
