The University of Canberra Brumbies have held their first Captain’s Run of the year at Canberra Stadium ahead of the Week 1 clash against the Western Force on Friday afternoon.
The entire team trained well, with final touches being completed ahead of the season starter.
Head Coach Jake White said his team had prepared well for the contest.
"After nine months of eating, sleeping and training together it's exciting to be at this point," White said.
"The thing I've continually said over the pre-season is that we don't know how good we can be or what we are capable of.
"It's one thing to be able to stick our passes at practice but we need to be fulfilling the same level of professionalism and accuracy game time.
"We are a very young team so naturally there is plenty of excitement and enthusiasm around the club, we need to be able to channel that energy into what we do on the field."
After naming their new Captain, a change in Principal Partner and Wednesday’s season launch, the University of Canberra Brumbies have now guided themselves into a position where they are ready to play rugby.
