After a week of community engagements, promoting rugby around the Northern Territory, the University of Canberra Brumbies have arrived in Cairns ready for their game against the Reds on Saturday.
The team arrived to typically hot and sweaty conditions but are now ready for the heat after spending a week in Darwin.
The Territory tour was a huge success both on and off the field for the University of Canberra Brumbies and they will be focussed on replicating the rugby side on Saturday night.
The University of Canberra Brumbies hold a formidable record over the Reds on Queensland soil, with last year’s win over the Champions at Suncorp only making the Queenslanders hungrier for a win this Saturday night.
The Reds have names a full strength team to play the University of Canberra Brumbies, with Anthony Faingaa and Quade Cooper the only missing links to the team which claimed the 2012 Super Rugby title.
After the fresh faced team blew the Force away last week, Head Coach Jake White will again name several untested players including front-rowers Scott Sio and Ruaidhri Murphy.
Robbie Coleman (sternum) and Jerry Yanuyanutawa (head knock) will both miss the Reds clash.
