Brumbies Rugby would like to invite all interested women to a “Come and Try Rugby 7’s” day on Saturday, 11 February 2012 at Griffith Oval (Cnr Austin St & Captain Cook Crescent, Griffith) from 1pm to 2pm.
Rugby 7’s is a fast and exciting version of Rugby (usually 15-a-side) and is taking the world by storm. Rugby 7’s consists of 7 players on the field at one time with two (2) seven (7) minute halves.
Rugby sevens is now recognised as an Olympic sport and will make its debut in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
