After knocking over the first eight weeks of pre-season the Brumbies took to the paint-ball track on Thursday morning to celebrate the end of 2011.
There will be bruising and welts come tomorrow, with Joe Tomane and Matt Toomua looking the most likely to suffer early in the challenge.
Organiser Ben Mowen said it was a nice way for the boys to come together and celebrate the end of 2011.
“We’ve worked pretty hard over the last couple of months so this is a nice way for the boys to relax and reflect,” Mowen said.
“If the season started tomorrow we still wouldn’t be ready, there is plenty of hard work to get through before things kick-off in February.
“The Christmas break has come at a good time for everyone before the business end of pre-season starts and we prepare for that first trial match against the Force in Darwin.”
The Brumbies will face the Western Force in Darwin on 4 February, with the team resuming training on 3 January.
