Memberships launch with new commercial

The Brumbies have officially launched their 2012 Membership packages with a public screening of their new commercial at Hoyts Woden.

The commercial, produced by Brumbies advertising partners Zoo Advertising and Silver Sun, was well received by the 70 guests who turned out on Friday morning.

Featuring players like Ben Mowen, Nic White, Ben Alexander, Matt Toomua, Patrick McCabe and Dan Palmer, the ad works on the messages of moving forward and improving on what was a disappointing 2011 Super Rugby season for the Brumbies.

Brumbies Rugby Chief Executive Andrew Fagan was impressed with Zoo’s hard work and said if Friday’s large turnout was any indication of things to come the membership drive would be a big success.

“It’s great to see so many people here to support the Brumbies moving into a new era and we are all looking forward to a fresh start under our new Head Coach Jake White,” Fagan said.

“Our members are looking for maximum effort and commitment when they sign up at the start of the season and these are key elements Jake has been working to improve since he arrived in Canberra three months ago.

“The new TV commercial, which goes to air this Sunday night, is the most professionally crafted piece of footage we’ve ever been afforded and we are confident Brumbies supporters will be able to connect with it.

“Brumbies memberships are an affordable way to be part of the Canberra community. In 2012 our members will enjoy a fresh direction, while we’ve also been blessed with a quality draw that includes fewer home games in the colder months and many of the bigger overseas teams, like the Blues and the Sharks, making trips to Canberra Stadium.”

Also along for the event were some of the Brumbies most popular players, including Dan Palmer, Jono Owen and Nic White, as well as Backs Coach Stephen Larkham.
