The ACT XV have kept their winning record in tact taking down the British Army 14-9 at Eastwood’s T.G Millner Field on Thursday.
The Canberra boys managed to outscore the Brits two tries to none, controlling the second half after going to the break behind, 9-7.
Tries to flanker Rutikha Ilolahia and centre Mitch Connolly sealed the win for the ACT, making it two on the trot following their 83 point demolition of the Royal Navy a week earlier.
Shaun McCarthy also had a solid afternoon with the boot knocking over his two conversion attempts.
The Army couldn’t manage to penetrate the ACT’s defence scoring all their points through penalties.
The match finished the ACT XV’s involvement with the International Defence Rugby Competition. The squad will continue to train through the off season, with mores fixtures planned for the near future.
