Team named to face Force

The CA Technologies Brumbies have named their team to face the Force this Sunday afternoon at Canberra Stadium, with several changes to the team that beat the Hurricanes last weekend.

In the forwards, Anthony Hegarty will earn his first Super Rugby start after making two other appearances this season from the bench. Also in the front row, Dan Palmer returns to the starting line up with Salesi Ma’afu moving back to the bench.

Should he get on the pitch, Elvis Levi will make his Super Rugby debut from the bench at hooker, coming in to the team after Huia Edmonds was a late withdrawal with a hamstring injury.

In the backs, Francis Fainifo moves into the starting side on the wing for the injured Henry Speight, while Pat McCabe will fill the other wing position.

Adam Ashley-Cooper will be used from the bench for the match against the Force.

Sunday afternoon rugby returns to the Capital for the first time since 2004 this weekend, with the CA Technologies Brumbies celebrating Family Day throughout the afternoon.

Face painting, jumping castles, Jump Rope for Heart promotions and balloon give aways will all provide plenty of entertainment for the kids, while the top line game of rugby between the CA Technologies Brumbies and the Force will be the icing on the cake.
