Toomua named at 10 to tackle the All Blacks

The University of Canberra Brumbies have had 10 players named to face the All Blacks on Saturday including debutant Matt Toomua, who will start at flyhalf.

Of the 10 Brumbies named, five are set to make their debuts.

Ben Alexander and Stephen Moore will return to the front row with Scott Sio set to make his debut from the bench. Jesse Mogg earns his first starting cap with the national side, while Ben Mowen moves to his preferred No. 8 jersey at the back of the scrum.

Nic White, Tevita Kuridrani and Scott Fardy are also in line to get their first taste of Test rugby from the bench, which has been set with a five three split.

It’s a reward for the University of Canberra Brumbies quality season having competed in the Super Rugby final just two weeks ago.

The Wallabies face the All Blacks on Saturday night at ANZ Stadium Sydney where they will fight it out for the Bledisloe Cup.
