Q. How do I renew my membership?
A. You can renew online at www.brumbies.com.au, or you can submit the Membership Renewal Form included in your Membership Renewal Pack to Brumbies Rugby by mail to the Brumbies Membership Department, PO Box 3865, Manuka ACT 2603, or by email at membershipforms@brumbies.com.au, or you can submit it in person to Brumbies Rugby Offices, Austin Street Griffith.
Q. How do I get the Renewing Early-bird discount when renewing my membership?
A. All renewing CA Technologies Brumbies members receive a loyalty discount. If you renew your membership before Friday 5 November 2010, you will receive an additional Early-bird discount off the cost of your membership.
Q. How can I pay for my membership?
A. Members may pay by cheque or credit card. Members may also make use of the payment plan if renewing by Monday 30 November. Please Note: Accepted credit cards are Visa and Mastercard. Cheques should be made out to Brumbies Rugby. All members paying by this method must write their full name and membership number on the back of the cheque.
Q. How will I know if my membership application has been received?
A. Members submitting Membership Renewal Forms or joining online will receive a confirmation email if a valid email address has been provided.
Q. How do I sit with my friends?
A. Members wishing to be seated together must submit their Membership Application Forms as a group or book online together. If you wish to sit near existing members, you will need to include their details.
Q. How do I apply for Disabled seating?
A. Members with a disability can request special seating due to that disability on their renewal form. This includes the need for wheelchair seating and, if required, the need for a carer seat co-located. Certain documentary evidence may be required to substantiate right to disabled classification.
Q. If I renew my membership, am I guaranteed the same seat?
A. You are guaranteed your existing seat provided your completed Membership Renewal Form is submitted to the Brumbies Membership Department by Friday 5 November 2010.
Q. What happens if I do not renew my membership before the cut off date?
A. Retention of seats cannot be guaranteed for membership renewals submitted after the cutoff date of Friday 5 November 2010.
Q. Can I request a change to my Membership?
A. Members can request a number of changes to their existing membership. More information on change requests can be found on your Membership Renewal Form.
Q. If I request changes to my seats, will I lose my current seat if my request is unsuccessful?
A. Any change requests will be processed after members who are renewing the same seats as last year. If the Membership Department is unable to fulfil your change request, you will retain your existing seats, provided your Membership Renewal Form is received by Friday 5 November 2010. Upgrades & changes will be processed in date receipt order, therefore the chances of having your request met are better if you renew early.
Q. If I have undercover seats, am I guaranteed to stay dry?
A. No. While a number of grandstand seats are under the roof-line there is no guarantee that any seat in the stadium will remain protected from the elements.
Q. Can I suspend my membership?
A. It is not the usual practice for Brumbies Rugby to suspend a membership/s, but depending on the member’s circumstances they should submit a letter detailing the request for suspension and mail this to the Brumbies Membership Department, PO Box 3865, Manuka ACT 2603
Q. Do I need to pay for my young child?
A. Children aged four years and under will be admitted for free, but they must be seated on the lap of an accompanying adult.
Q. Who is responsible for car parking at Canberra Stadium / Pre Purchase Parking?
A. Canberra Stadium Management is responsible for parking on Match day. It is not possible to pre purchase reserved parking and members wishing to park at games will need to arrive early to ensure access to the parking areas. Limited disability parking is available at each Brumbies home match on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Q. Are there bus services available to get me to the game?
A. Brumbies Rugby and Canberra Stadium provide free ‘park and ride’ Action bus services from all Canberra Bus Interchanges, on presentation of a membership card or game day ticket. Some Rugby Clubs operate bus services from their Clubs to the game at a small cost. Details of these services will be made available on the Brumbies website.
Q. Is my membership card transferable?
A. Yes. If a member cannot attend a match, they may give their membership card to a friend or relative. Please Note: Only those eligible for a specific concession rate may use that card.
Q. How do I replace my membership card if it is lost or stolen?
A. You will need to contact Brumbies Membership Department on 1300 733 899. A $20 administration fee applies to the replacement of each membership card.
Q. What if I’m not renewing?
A. We would appreciate you letting us know so we can release your seat to another member. Also, you could consider taking up a Supporter membership from just $35.
