Monaro - 1st Division Grand Finals Results
Saturday 22nd August
Simon Poidevin Oval, Goulburn

Congratulations to the Goulburn Dirty Reds and the Yass Rams who have secured the 1st Division 1st Grade and 1st Division 2nd Grade Grand Finals this year.

In 1st Grade, Goulburn were able to hold off a gallant Hall outfit 27-15. For the Dirty Reds, this is the second consecutive year in which they finished the regular season undefeated and claiming the title. Front Rower Jack Brimms was named player of the match for his outstanding efforts.

The 2nd Grade fixture saw an undefeated Goulburn outfit stumble at the last hurdle again, going down to Yass 24-19. Yass hit their straps at the back end of the season, and stepped up their game in the final game to prevent Goulburn from completing the double. Eirene Apineru of Yass was named player of the match.
