Congratulations to Soakai Tai on being announced the Macdougall Medal winner for 2011. The Macdougall medal is presented to the Most Outstanding Player for the 2011 Premier 1st Division competition, where a pre determined selection panel awards points to players during each game. Soakai earned a total of 19 points throughout the 2011 season while playing for Royals RUFC. He scored maximum points in Rounds 7, 8, 12, 16 & 18. In addition Soakai placed 2nd in the Top Try Scores for the premier division, an outstanding achievement for a forward.
