The ACT's First Division encompasses teams from the Canberra’s surrounding regions as well as second grade teams from within the Capital.
Each of the seven teams which compete in the John I Dent Cup fields another two sides in the First Division competition and they are joined by sides from ADFA, Cooma, Goulburn, Hall and the RMC.
The First Division is always a hotly fought competition, with the Tuggeranong Vikings successful in both the First Division First and Second Grade 2011 Grand Finals.
